TRIP POLICY
This policy has been developed for all persons  participating in day and extended trips planned and/or leaving from the Salvatore Mancini Resource and Activity Center.

Reservations are accepted on a first come basis upon receipt of payment.  Members are given first preference.  Telephone reservations are not accepted.

Reservations for trips will be accepted only on the following days:

Mondays through Fridays  10:00 am – 1:30 pm or you may mail your payment to:  SMRAC, Two Atlantic Boulevard, North Providence, RI  02911

Non-members and friends of the Center may register for a trip, but will only be included within two (2) weeks of departure, unless otherwise stated that trip is an “Open Trip” available to non-members.  All reservations are to be made by advertised deadline.

PAYMENT:   You may leave a 50% non–refundable deposit on trips over $50.00 or pay the trip in full.  Trips under $50.00 must be paid in full at time of reservation.

THERE ARE NO  EXCEPTIONS.

SEATING:  All seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

CANCELLATIONS:   Refunds will be made only if the Center cancels the trip.  Members participating in Center trips are required to complete emergency notification forms. Please note:      If you sign up for a trip and have a luncheon  reservation at the Center on the same day, kindly  remember to call and cancel your luncheon  reservation with the Nutrition Manager at 231-0742, ext. 110.

If a trip becomes full, a waiting list will be developed and members will have priority on cancellations.

The Center is to be notified in writing of any physical limitations of the trip participant.  Notification is to be made two (2) weeks before trip departure date.  Notification will be given to participants of any unusual walking, climbing, or unusual terrain expected on trips.

Participants attending agency trips are required to park in the rear parking lot of the Senior Center.

The Center is not responsible for items left on the bus.

Upon return to the Center, all parties are responsible for making their own arrangements for transportation off the premises/home and the Center will not be responsible for any such mode of transportation or any liability that stems from such transportation off the premises home.
